NO POVERTY , NO HUNGER & RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION

This month,we are going to work on sustainable development goal 1 and 2 "No Poverty and No Hunger". Our students are playing "Freerice" for the people  in need. We play the game and learn new words .Every correct word  gives 10 grains of rice for the UN World Food Programme. We think that is an amazing feeling to do something for other people. All students in the project are very happy for "January Rice Donation" .We are playing, learning and helping people.

As a project team, we think that everyone in the world should reach food and water because this is a necessity for all people in the worldwide.

Sufficient and healthy foods should be made available to everyone!

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic reversed the steady progress of poverty reduction over the past 25 years. This unprecedented reversal is being further exacerbated by rising inflation and the impacts of the war in Ukraine. It is estimated that these combined crises will lead to an additional 75 million–95 million people living in extreme poverty in 2022, compared with pre-pandemic projections.

In a world of plenty, hunger should be a thing of the past

Across the globe, up to 828 million people do not have enough food and 49 million people are facing emergency levels of hunger. From red

ucing our food waste to ensuring access to nutritious food for everyone, we have a lot of work to do. At WFP, we believe that food is a human right and that everyone deserves to live in a #ZeroHunger world. Let's work together to fill everyone's plate.

The UN has defined some targets for "No Hunger"

Target 2.1: Universal access to safe and nutritious food

Target 2.2: End all forms of malnutrition

Target 2.3: Double the productivity and incomes of small-scale food producers

Target 2.4: Sustainable food production and resilient agricultural practices

Target 2.5: Maintain the genetic diversity in food production

Maybe ,this is a small help for us but it means more for someone in the world!
Don't hesitate to help for others, do the something for them!
                                                " NO MORE,NO HUNGER ANYMORE"

SPORT, GOOD HEALTH AND WELLBEING

This month, we hare working on Good Health and Wellbeing. We are making researches about National Athlets, creating puzzles and playing our friends’   puzzles. Also, we are going to create a video including the most well known quotes about the sport and health. Sport is an activity that has many benefits for the human body and that we should do regularly. It is good for physical health as well as mental health. It is the most beautiful activity that helps us to get rid of whatever bad energy we have on us. The sooner we start exercising, the better it will be for our body. We should definitely make sports a habit. Unaccustomed bodies will of course have difficulties at first. But after a certain time, you can be sure that you will not be able to live still. Every year, UNESCO celebrates the virtues and universal values of sports and wants to remind us that sports practice, which enables us to have a "healthy mind in a healthy body", has the ethics of living togeth...
CLIMATE ACTION AND PLANET EARTH FROM SPACE      In February, our students researched the topic of climate action and planet earth from space.  NASA is a global leader in studying Earth’s changing climate. The agency’s observations of our home planet from space, the air, and on the ground are helping us learn how the interconnected systems of our planet interact.      NASA is currently developing the   Earth System Observatory (ESO) . The core of ESO is five satellite missions that will provide essential data on climate change, severe weather, natural hazards, wildfires, and global food production. These observations will address the most pressing questions about our changing planet identified in the 2017 Earth Science Decadal Survey conducted by the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine. The missions will focus on five areas: Aerosols Clouds, convection, and precipitation Surface biology and geology Water and ice mass chan...
