STEM , ROBOTICS , ENGINEERING , CODING May is science month. We had different activities, such as: research, building, coding… We organised a Spaghetti tower challenge. Each team had to build a tower using spaghetti and munch mallow. The challenge was to build the highest tower. We all tried our best, but who can compete with the Italians when it comes to spaghetti. Of course, the highest tower was the team of Monica (Italy). W e celeb rated eTwin ning d ay (Ma y 9) . Thro ugh cod ing a nd fill ing i n ma ps w e dr ew t he eTwin ning lo go. The students created the city they wanted to live in, with lots of greenery and space for recreation... Finally, sin...
This month we have created a vintage newspaper. We were divided into groups, each group with the task of dealing with one or two goals from the Agenda 2030 in an original and let's say creative way. The groups have members from different nationalities. We worked on Google docs first to brainstorm ideas and write different kinds of compositions (essays, recipes, letters, surveys, articles), then we had online meetings with our teachers and finally each group prepared two pages on Canva.  Then all these pages will be put together in our unique March Vintage Newspaper! Stay tuned!
CLIMATE ACTION AND PLANET EARTH FROM SPACE      In February, our students researched the topic of climate action and planet earth from space.  NASA is a global leader in studying Earth’s changing climate. The agency’s observations of our home planet from space, the air, and on the ground are helping us learn how the interconnected systems of our planet interact.      NASA is currently developing the   Earth System Observatory (ESO) . The core of ESO is five satellite missions that will provide essential data on climate change, severe weather, natural hazards, wildfires, and global food production. These observations will address the most pressing questions about our changing planet identified in the 2017 Earth Science Decadal Survey conducted by the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine. The missions will focus on five areas: Aerosols Clouds, convection, and precipitation Surface biology and geology Water and ice mass chan...

February - Leadership (People Who Change the World)

This month, we are focusing on Leadership and the people we believe that change the world or our world. We are trying to choose the leaders that influence us or have a very important impression. Firstly, we want to mention about the principles of a Sustainable Leadership.       Also, we need the definition of Sustainable Leadership, here it is; " Sustainability leadership is a process of influence that delivers direction, alignment and commitment, and aims to address social, environmental and economic issues to create a better world. This definition draws from McCauley (2014), Quinn and D’Amato (2008), and Visser and Courtice (2011). It reminds us that leadership is not a position - it is a  process of influence  that usually involves a group of people working together to build a shared vision for change, coordinate their activities, and foster personal commitment to collective success. It also reminds us that sustainability leaders seek to d...

Our students are playing " Freerice " for the people  in need. We play the game and learn new words .Every correct word  gives 10 grains of rice for the  UN World Food   Programme . We think that is an amazing feeling to do something for other people. All students in the project are very happy for "January Rice Donation" .We are playing, learning and helping people. As a project team, we think that everyone in the world should reach food and water because this is a necessity for all people in the worldwide. Sufficient and healthy foods should be made available to everyone!                    The im...

SPORT, GOOD HEALTH AND WELLBEING

This month, we hare working on Good Health and Wellbeing. We are making researches about National Athlets, creating puzzles and playing our friends’   puzzles. Also, we are going to create a video including the most well known quotes about the sport and health. Sport is an activity that has many benefits for the human body and that we should do regularly. It is good for physical health as well as mental health. It is the most beautiful activity that helps us to get rid of whatever bad energy we have on us. The sooner we start exercising, the better it will be for our body. We should definitely make sports a habit. Unaccustomed bodies will of course have difficulties at first. But after a certain time, you can be sure that you will not be able to live still. Every year, UNESCO celebrates the virtues and universal values of sports and wants to remind us that sports practice, which enables us to have a "healthy mind in a healthy body", has the ethics of living togeth...
