February - Leadership (People Who Change the World)


     This month, we are focusing on Leadership and the people we believe that change the world or our world. We are trying to choose the leaders that influence us or have a very important impression. Firstly, we want to mention about the principles of a Sustainable Leadership.

      Also, we need the definition of Sustainable Leadership, here it is;

"Sustainability leadership is a process of influence that delivers direction, alignment and commitment, and aims to address social, environmental and economic issues to create a better world. This definition draws from McCauley (2014), Quinn and D’Amato (2008), and Visser and Courtice (2011). It reminds us that leadership is not a position - it is a process of influence that usually involves a group of people working together to build a shared vision for change, coordinate their activities, and foster personal commitment to collective success. It also reminds us that sustainability leaders seek to deliver outcomes that maximise value across the so-called ‘triple bottom line’ to ensure future generations have the same opportunities that we currently enjoy."

       And based on this definition, our team members choose these leaders;

Elif : Halit Akçatepe ( An actor)

Ender: Fatih Sultan Mehmet ( the Ottoman Sultan who conquered Istanbul)

Sena : Mete Gazoz ( A Turkish Archer)

Ahsen: Mustafa Kemal Atatürk ( the Founder of Turkish Republic)

Rana Betül: Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (the Current President of Türkiye)
